Tyan has come out with a case that can support 16 CPUs now that multi processors are all the rage. Enter the age of Personal Super Computers.

That's a lot of heat and a lot of potential noise.

It'd be kinda neat to see SPCR get their hands on one of these puppies! :wink:

I seriously doubt SPCR will get one of these to review. Getting Tyan to send one is highly improbable - this is nowhere close to their target market. No one could want to boost their Folding@Home score that badly :-) Besides, getting 16 individual machines will probably be cheaper and give you higher scores.

Anyway, I see only one way to silence this beast without turning it off :

Lenny, I totally agree with you. The image of the box sitting 25 feet away was hilarious!

I was thinking more along the lines of putting the 16 CPU box in a closet and shutting the door...
