New and quiet SFF from ECS: The EZ-Buddie

Post by deebass » Thu Apr 24, 2003 10:13 am

First, excuse me if this has been already discussed.

It seems quite quiet and it promises 30dB at 50cm distance and it's very cool-looking with that LCD front panel.

So now, I'm just expecting someone to get one and review it.

Also it would be good to know how customizable it can be.

Come on. 217 posts and do I have to tell you www.ecs.com.tw, point products and click EZ-buddie? :-)

No bad intention with the previous line. I just think you're anxious to see it.

EZ-Buddie has only a 30DB noise value when you're 50cm away
That's going to need some work. 30dB at 20" is none too quiet.

Maybe not ... but if there's no standard in these measurements, you can't tell if it's noisy or not until you listen to it.
And as it has "Smart Fan" you don't know if 30dB is the lowest or the highest noise.

Of course ... I'm waiting for any review of it, and them we'll wait for Mike to mod it, :-)
