Doesn't say what their speeds will be though...oh well, just having an Athlon64 is good enough for me. :) Of course, price is the other major factor that has not yet been specified...

Also Intel has a "low-voltage" 1 GHz Itanium 2 processor:

I think even 30W is ridiculously high for a cpu.

Yep, but the price may be slightly prohibitive for itanium2 based pc ... for example, the prices for HP Itanium2 workstations starts at 3700$ for the bare version ...
