Doesn't say what their speeds will be though...oh well, just having an Athlon64 is good enough for me.

Of course, price is the other major factor that has not yet been specified...

Yep, but the price may be slightly prohibitive for itanium2 based pc ... for example, the prices for HP Itanium2 workstations starts at 3700$ for the bare version ...
