Thanks for the review lawrance. Nice to see another Scythe get the editors choice, i still feel the Kotetsu is better buy because of its performance and price.

Great article as always!
I'm surprised the Kotetsu keeps its edge after a year or so, more so considering its size and price.
Perhaps my old and trusty NH-U12P needs a replacement

As noted on page 6, the fan on the Deepcool unit has the support struts angled in exactly the wrong direction. This will cause more noise than if they were angled the other direction, so they didn't cause as big an interruption in the air flow, each time a blade passes a strut.
