Re: Corsair Carbide 600Q Inverse Tower
Interesting case! It is very wide though, cases seem to get wider and wider.

Re: Corsair Carbide 600Q Inverse Tower
wider the case the better. so much easier to work in. This looks like the case I would want. I am a big fan of the corsair higher end cases. I have one now and it is a joy to work on and made so strong and safe inside. The bigger the case, the easier it is to quiet. I have noticed lot lower temps in bigger cases with same exact fans. I think air volume just helps a lot when gaming.
looks like a great review.
looks like a great review.

I like the looks of the case, reminds a little of the PS07/TJ08-E.
Thanks for the review Mike.

yes. I managed to delete the original discussion thread, which is why this thread was started by me.Olaf van der Spek wrote:Didn't Lawrence do the review?Abula wrote:Thanks for the review Mike.

Why was the 600Q compared to the Define S when there is a $70 dollar price difference, wouldn't it be better if it was compared to the Define R5?

Actually it would have been more fair, money wise (quietness wise, R5 and S are about the same).
Re: Corsair Carbide 600Q Inverse Tower
...except that the R5, when reviewed, was done with a completely different set of components (as part of a revisit of the ATX Gaming build rather than as a case alone review). So, it would have required another build of the R5 with the case review component set. <shrugs> As Luca pointed out, the R5 and S are about the same quietness wise...with a slight nod to the S due to the better front airflow and a nod to the R5 if you need rattle free HDD mounting.
