Re: SilverStone Raven RVZ02 Slim Tower
I'm interested in this kind of case, for a hybrid of HTPC, CD Ripping and Gaming*, but ideally I need to put it in the unit under my TV, with horizontal orientation. I have about 150mm hight available on each shelf (the bottom shelf being able to take a 400mmx400mm case).
I'm just wondering if any other cases are likely to perform better in a horizontal position given my shelf constraints, or if there is a way to alleviate the concerns you had about running this case horizontal, perhaps by further raising the feet.
I'd be grateful for any thoughts or suggestions.
All the best, Martin
* HTPC (Mostly browser based streaming TV, but in the future, 4k bluray playback is of interest)
CD Ripping (glad the optical drive here isn't a slot design, as I have some 6cm CD singles)
Gaming (Sim City, Portal 2, SWTOR, Skyrim - not the latest games, but would be nice to be
able to play at 1080p or even 4k rather than my current 720p)

Re: SilverStone Raven RVZ02 Slim Tower
nice review mr lee! this case is on my short list (along with the one below).
this one looks like it has gpu and cpu on top, and psu on bottom, so it might be better suited to horizontal. http://www.digitaltrends.com/computing/ ... -ces-2016/martineyles wrote: I'd be grateful for any thoughts or suggestions.

Hi Lawrence,
another great review of a very interesting case.
I am considering it myself. I have the RVZ01 case (with a full size ATX PSU) and it still rocks as a gaming case.
Cheers
