Nice build, I'm planning on very similar (same case, PSU, MoBo, and CPU cooler).

Where there problems with CPU heatsink installation? Did you use stock mount, or pass through bolts? Any deformation or stress on motherboard?

No problems so far. But the fan of the ninja does touch my OCZ memory. But no problem there. Its with stock mounting. But as we speak, Im getting bolt thru 2morow!

So i will update tomorow again with PICS ! :D

I was just going to ask about that. I'm considering a similar motherboard and the Ninja (well actually the Mini Ninja but it's just as big on the sides), and it looks like the fan will touch the memory. Did you have to mount the fan higher up on the Ninja than where it would usually go?

Great results!! Makes me almost want one of those cases... but I am a HTPC case lover, and so have crammed VERY similar hardware into my HTPC case, but have had pretty decent results.

Great write up, fantastic end result!

Excellent setup! My rig was totally inspired by your post :)

BTW, have you applied damping materila? I see it in the components pictures but it is not applied on case pictures.

My rig explained here:
viewtopic.php?t=43219

Differnces from your setup:
4 GB RAM
Applied damping material
Ninja mounted with self made bolt through kit
620 watt Corsair PSU
Nice balck and white Nexus fans

with G0 stepping CPUs you should use coretemp 0.95.4 or newer to get valid readings.

everything else: EXCELLENT !!!

Around 3GHz should not be hard to achieve.

Those temps are obviously off, by 15 degrees if you ask me. What is the stepping of that E6750? I guess it actually has a Tjunction of 100, so the temps were 33 and 32 degrees Celsius when taking that screen cap. My E6600 cores for example idle around 33-35 depending on whatever, with a Ninja and a very slow Nexus. You should update your measurement software - even if your ambient was below 20 degrees at about 17, which I don't believe first of all, the cores couldn't reach that. You'd need your house to be just slightly over freezing to get those temps. :)

I love seeing griefers balking at 500w or even 600w PSU's. It's not like he threw a 1000w or even a low quality (high heat) 500w PSU in there. That Corsair is very efficient, low noise, and has huge upgrade potential. Not a bad decision at all.

Yep, those temps seem right about 15 degrees below what they really are. Intel TAT has that problem.

I need to get some Nexus fans for the new case I'm putting my rig into. 15 bucks each is kinda pricey, but I guess its worth it over the Yate Loons.

Anyways, this is a sweet rig you've got. Excellent job with the cable hiding too!
