I have just put a new computer together (See here) and it was good. So now I wanted to do something with my old computer (See here) I didn’t have a power supply, graphics card or case for it because they had gone into the new computer and I didn’t want to spend a lot of money putting it together and also I didn’t have a lot of space for it, so I decided I would buy a cheep graphics card and power supply off ebay, I got a 200w power supply for £7 and a Radion X300 for £15, and then I decided who needs a case why cant I just put it on my desk… so I did and here it is my desktop PC

Very impressive, i especially like the HDD looming over the rest of the board.

I take it the CPU heatsink works passive?

Well the fan thats in the front is almost pushed up against the edge of the heatsink so its not really passive but yeh it works, it keeps the CPU at 50 while running Folding@home.

Do you mean a wider shot with the front on or off?

Either way would be nice. Just to see the whole "enclosure".

Well ok but its not really enclosure its just a computer on my desk with a piece of cardboard in front.

could be done a lot better and cleaner for a minimum of effort.

cut an end and a side panel, sand and stain, mount to desk and put side panel on hinges. = clean setup.

Hmmm, that doesn't sound like a minimum of effort to me, that sounds like allot of effort. I think i'm good with how it is now thanks.
