Have you thought of getting a Ninja Mini and running the CPU fanless? Also, if you drilled a hole, do you think it would fit a 120 mm fan?

Really nice case. Could you under-volt the CPU on that motherboard? Is the fan running stock speed or is it under some kind of control?

The case is actually Red (anodized, not painted) in color. They had a choice of colors (Black, Silver, Red, Blue and White) but I went with Red so that my HTPC will stand out amidst the somber earth theme of my living room.

Converted to Intake Fan to minimize dust build-up. It's at stock speed ... around 2200rpm.

Didn't try Ninja Mini but Scythe Shuriken missed by a few mm. Not so much on the height but blocked by the 3.5" HDD cage.

There's no need to undervolt the processor as the system is already idling at 29.5W and max load is only around 70+W. Good enough imo.

If you don't need to under-volt that is fine. However, I did check the Anandtech review of the Zotac mini ITX board and it will allow voltage reductions. They actually got away with a 150 bclk and a small voltage reduction. The main reason to under-volt is to keep the CPU fan from spinning up over a greater range of CPU loads. However, some noise is acceptable with an HTPC due to its being located reasonably far from the viewer.

Nice system, and all the systems on your site are great as well. Those WiNDy cases are a work of art, just beautiful. Wish I could afford to buy and import one.

Windy is scheduled to start shipping and selling worldwide in July (per and article that I read about 6 months ago and also posted on their English homepage).

Yeah I thought I remember reading something about that. Even without having to import, though, the cases are probably way out of my price range.
