Chieftec Dragon drive bays

Post by neilc » Thu Jun 24, 2004 4:22 pm

Hi,
Im trying to suspend my hard drives in a Chieftec Dragon, and I want to remove one of the trays which the hard drive cage locks into. The tray is attached to the case using what I believe to be called a hammer and pin joint (?), is there an easy way to remove the metal pins, or will a need a drill?

I had to drill, but the pop rivets came out quickly. If you drill, empty your case of electronics before drilling and clean well after drilling....the metals bits that fly from the drilling don't get along well with computer components.
