Im looking at buying case damping material but am not sure whether or not it will make a significant difference. I have included links to two options that I have in mind. Which would give me the best results and would they be significant? Thanks!

Same thing :). Not very efficient and they smell (you need to keep them in open air for a week or so, till the smell fades away). But they're cheap. If you have the money, go for the AcoustiPack...

Nexus Damptek is also a good alternative, mentioned by someone on this forum saying that Nexus's melmaine sumthing stuff (i can't spell)material is good for sound absortion. On lots of acoustic foam sites, the good stuff was made from the same melmaine stuff that Nexus uses.
Also its cheaper than Acoustic Pack!

Google is your friend:
http://www.google.com/search?q=nexus+damptek

The first link is the website of the manufacturer.
The second link is the website of a US reseller.

Nexus and Acoustic Pack are the same thichness of 7mm.
but Acoustic Pack has a 2mm barrier where as the Nexus has a 1.5 mm barrier.
This give Nexus an advantage to absorb more of the sound rather than deflect it. .5mm more foam i duno if it gonna make a big difference

im gonna order my Nexus Damptek as soon as i get money heh  someone wanna buy it for me? :D

btw extreme heres a post i posted earlier regarding Nexus vs Acousticpack, half way down u should see the melamain thing hahaha i can't even say that word
