Enclosures and acoustic damping to help quiet them.

inwin z720t matx case?

Post by yeha » Fri Feb 04, 2005 12:02 am

as seen here.

nice looking fan grills (and they could very easily be snipped), 92mm rear fan, rather odd vent thing, but does anything stick out as a potential problem? it can be found here for $31 from a highly-rated place. i'm thinking of pairing this with a s939 matx pci-e board (the msi rs480m2?) and a 90nm 3000+ a64. there's even a nice bit of room for a suspended drive or two.

any thoughts?

this could be my dream system, paired with a silenced 6600gt, some ducting and a psu swap.

Is there no fan in the front?

How about this one

I really like this case. Its an updated chenming with a 120mm fan in the rear and 80mm's in front - one inside the hdd cage. A 3000b is sometimes cramped to work on because its fairly small. - FG

Man, the good 'ol SX10x0 just won't die, eh?

What's up with the weird grills around the CAG though?

Correct - there is no fan. I asked around on the Ars forum, and the only problem one owner of the C720T experienced was a flimsy sliding cover.
