P150 question using side rails

Post by JVM » Thu Feb 16, 2006 4:58 pm

I've looked at some 5.25" bay fan controllers and don't see how they would fit in the P150 because the holes aren't there like in optical drives for the side rails to be attached. Is that correct, or is there another way?

Most fan controllers arent deep, so you cant use the rear screwholes of the drive rails, but you can use the frontmost screw holes of the side rail to secure the fan controller. This is enough to secure it using 4 screws, two on each rail.

this is how we did it on my friends Sonata. Just attached the rails to the controller.

I can confirm that Sunbeam controllers will fit fine without any extra work.
