antec 3700 vs evercase 4252

Post by techiecool » Sun Apr 06, 2003 9:15 pm

well not exactly the antec 3700 but the version that comes w/out the psu from coolcase? (i think). i am trying to pick between the evercase and the antec-like 3700 case. any input would be great.

There's two reviews on the main SPCR site, one is for the 3700 and the other is for the (basically identical except for the bezel) D8000. Read those to get a feel for things.

My quick 2¢ is that the SLK3700/D8000 is a great case to built a quiet computer from. It's the best case I've ever used and I've used a lot of cases. The Evercase is good too, but is a step down from the 3700/D8000 cases. It's about half the price though.

Huh?

That's what we're talking about, the D8000. It's the same identical case as the SLK3700 with a different front bezel (the plastic cover on the front of the case) and no PSU. Anything else that is said about the SLK3700 is directly applicable to the D8000.

My recommendation stands: Get the D8000 over the Evercase, unless money is really tight.
