Difference in screws?
My new Akasa Mirage V4 came with a huge number of screws of various types.
Among the coarse threaded are two that both have hexagonal heads, but one is smooth underneath, the other has a radiating pattern of lines.
Are these intended for different things?
Thanks.

It's kind of funny i stumbled on a wikipedia article on this subject not too long ago.
It is by no means an exhaustive reference but a good read nonetheless :

Wow, I bet you won't find that in Encyclopedia Britannica.Blacktales wrote:It's kind of funny i stumbled on a wikipedia article on this subject not too long ago.

Those 6-32 and M3 screws are troublesome. With these aging eyes, I can barely tell the difference. I was recently playing around with an Antec Solo and finally had to sit down and physically sort all the provided screws into little plastic sandwich bags. I wish these case builders (and I guess the component makers) would standardize on either metric or English units (I don't care which). Also, I, too, wish Antec would include something like that wikipedia article with the case. Knowing which screws are included and what they are for would be nice. So, thanks, Blacktales.
