Akasa Mirage screws?

Post by Derek Baker » Fri Sep 19, 2008 3:53 pm

After setting up my system in the Mirage I have 2 sets of screws left over.

1) 3 screws unlike any in the bags the machine came with. Pointed, course threaded with large domed head and large drive.

2) 2 thumbscrews, unlike others because of smooth shaft between head and thread. Two others in, North of dust filter holder.

Thanks

Is there a question here or is this just a general statement? If so, I'm not too sure what the point of this post is.

Congrats on the leftover 5 screws, though. :P

The question is where do the go?

The five are not the only left overs, only the unique ones - I have dozens for fixing drives.

I've put the two smooth thumbscrews back, but am still not quite sure about the three unique screws.

I seem to recall removing them to allow the mobo tray to be removed and the tray does still have enough movement to sometimes create noise.

I can see two places on the front of the tray where the screws could go, but what about the third?

Thanks.
