Modified P183 top vent

Below picture of Modified P183 top vent, and the tools I used.
Gentle prising of the plastic top with two tableknives released the aluminum grille.

Are you going to cover the hole with anything?
What was the issue with the stock vent?

I am SO doing that if I need to use the top vent. Very nice mod!

Exactly where did you use the table knifes? Have tried some but it seems very easy to damge the paint on the grille.
