foam/damping material in Israel.

Enclosures and acoustic damping to help quiet them.

I don't know about availability in Israel, but I use Acousti AcoustiPack dampening. I've heard some people use cheaper DIY materials, which will be available in Israel, but have no experience with this because I prefer the Acousti products.

That's a different acousti. It's this one: http://www.acoustiproducts.com/en/index.asp

However I don't think they have a reseller in Israel. You could buy it elsewhere from them, but it'd be expensive and not sure if it's worth it. I'm sure someone could help with the DIY option though. Or just vist your equivalent of Home Depot, Home Hardware, B&Q and other hardware DIY shops, and ask.

Do you guys put foam behind the motherboard as well? Or is that a waste?

I normally buy foam and other sound dampening materials in shops that sells car parts. It's cheaper and there's a good one close to where i live. here in denmark there's several different chains of these stores, and they all have a pretty good selection.
