Finding P182 Serial Number?

Post by ivoltage » Sun Sep 06, 2009 3:29 pm

I have problems with my P182 (bulging panels, front port static) but can't find the serial number I need to report the issues. It's driving me crazy.

Anyone know where it's found?

Thanks

The only thing my Google-fu comes up with is that the serial number for a P180 (not your P182) should be in the form of: “acc0123456â€

I think my P182 SE has the front port static too. At first I thought it was my motherboard, but then I tried a sound card and it was the same.

I even wrapped the audio cable in aluminum + heatshrink tubing + expandable sleeving but it was the same. It looks like a quality high-end cable now. Is there a do-it-yourself fix for this?

Thanks for the suggestions. It's been driving me crazy as I can't submit a support request without one. Good way of keeping support costs down, I guess. I am about to have another look. If I find anything, I'll let you know.

Thanks again!

about that static

could the static be caused by bad grounding in your power socket?

I had a bad wall power socket, that got me electric shock every once in a while. ~~
