I'm still looking for a good itx case for my pc, one that can hold 3.5 hdd and no psu.
on my search i found this nice case
a no name but looks good
http://cgi.ebay.com/HiFi-Grade-mini-ITX ... 2eac177cdb
but 50$ without shipping isn't cheap, i dug a ltl and found
http://item.taobao.com/auction/item_det ... 7c577f.htm
for a lot less, but i really don't know how to work with taobao
as far as i can see this case has a lot of potential for mods
and also, i think i can fit a 3.5 hdd if you use the space they saved for psu if i use my pico psu.
what do you think? should i try to buy it?
Interesting ITX case

The problem here isn't just the lack of ventilation, but also the difficulty of putting more ventilation in. Even if you drill your own holes for fans on the outer shell, you'll likely be forced to use tiny fans due to the lack of room around and over the mobo.
If you're willing to mod, start with a nicer platform. Take the Antec ISK 300-65, 300-150, or 310-150, rip out the PSU, and rig together some brackets to mount drives. You end up with stock support for 80mm fans, better clearance over the mobo if you're using bigger HSFs for the CPU, and a low profile expansion slot. It's not cheap, but it gives you a lot of room to work in.
Good luck, and let us know how your project turns out! =)
