Is the 5.25" drive bay cover on the GD05b plastic? In other words, is it going to look shoddy if I don't mount a drive in that position?
I'm trying to find a case for an HTPC with no DVD drive (no HDD, either). It is just an m-ITX board, RAM, and PSU. I'd like it to look like a piece of home theater equipment, not a video game. The GD05b looks really good to me. My only concern is the DVD cover.
Does the GD04b look better? It seems to be the same box but with a stealth DVD cover. Would it be possible to glue in the Al DVD cover?

Re: Silverstone GD04b/GD05b
The cd drive bay cover that comes with the GD05B is plastic, but they have a finish / laminate on it that looks just like the rest of the aluminum front, it actually surprised me when i took it out and discovered that it was plastic.
The GD04B has a stealthed cd drive bay, dunno what its made out of but if i remember correctly its the same plastic and respective finish as the GD05B
