AcoustiPacks in Australia?

Post by chylld » Sun Dec 07, 2003 6:41 pm

Does anyone know what's the easiest way to get hold of some AcoustiPacks in Australia? the shipping works out to be around AUD40-50 (from USA) so if there's a local distributor, I'd really like to know about it :)

I know there's no official one (I asked AP) but maybe there are some resellers who maybe frequent trips to USA or Europe?

I don't think they do, but I'd also be really happy if I'm wrong.
How'd that email go? I know they used to stock Noisemagic Fleece, but they stopped importing it becuase it was too expensive. They're new replacement is only 5mm thick and a lot cheaper. I haven't tried it though, so it might work.

i wonder if it's worth aud 120-140 to buy it from usa... 35% of that price is shipping =\

I was also going to get the AcoustiPack but it was too expensive. I found a local alternative which seems just as good. I bought the thinnest version they have and I've just installed it in my Antec SX630-II case.

Take a look:

we sell Spire Case dampening material,

for $25 per pack it works out much cheaper than the Magic fleece,

it is also much easier to work with,
