just joined folding@home, but somehow i can't get that sig icon work down there. is it because i haven't finished any WUs yet?

and the configuration is kinda confusing, is there any other program that works similar to this?

Yep, your sig will be along once LiquidNinja updates after your first returned WU to Stanford.

What config confusion were/are you having?

hmmm i completed my first WU and it still hasn't shown up yet but on the folding@home stats at stanford it shows up under our team. weird....

The website from Stanford shows a finished WU about one hour after you send them in. All the other websites about F@H have to use textfiles at Standord that are only refreshed once every three hours. Your WU was not visible at the 11:00 PM (GMT) refresh. So you have to wait at least till 2:00 AM (GMT). Sometimes liquidninjas.com is even slower than that. EOC is more up to date most of the time.
