Current Work Unit
-----------------
Name: p1130_L939_K12M_355K
Download time: March 29 04:03:21
Due time: June 5 04:03:21
Progress: 94% [|||||||||_]
I do use this machine for other things though, it is my main gamin PC. I leave F@Home running all the timebecause it doesnt interfere with anything being at such a low priority
Where do you get stats like that from? Mine are from the unitinfo text file

I'm averaging 4.2 mins/frame on p1133_L939_K12M_355K on my 3500+ running at 240x10.

Tibors' stats shows that clock speed beats dual channel for these Tinkers by about 15s. I wonder how it will fare for the other cores

It's no secret that F@H is almost purely dependend on clock speed for all cores.
It is however impossible to conclude that from only two workunits. Within one projects WU's there is a variabillity of max. ±10% in speed. And that is excluding the effects a folding event may have.

But does the new work unit (WU) have the same number of frames? (You can find that
here.) Most tinker WU's have 400 frames. All Gromacs WU's have 100 "frames". (Actually the Gromacs don't have frames at all, but one "frame" is 1% of the total number of steps in a Gromacs WU.)
Another thing is that larger WU's give you more points per WU. It should average out to about the same number of points per day (PPD).

I seem to get a lot of Tinker cores lately.. about 4½ minutes per frame and 241pt per WU. Stock 3500+ Winchester and 2x512Mb memory.
