FAH Monitor & Farm...

Post by peteamer » Mon Apr 17, 2006 2:00 am

Just to let people know there's a new F@H monitor freely available that looks quite good.

I found it over here: http://forum.folding-community.org/view ... hp?t=14700

Looks like:

Ya know, I was just coming back here to look for info on folding monitoring again. I fired it back up on my server, and found the old FAHStats program on there. Fired that up and all the settings still work. But with all the new work units, I don't have the point values, so its not a complete help.

Does this program have a way to export to HTML for a website? I really liked that feature with FAHStats.

Heh Zy, good to hear from you. 8)

I don't think it does what you want out of the box.

The current thread for it's development is here: http://forum.folding-community.org/view ... hp?t=14700 and the developer is very happy to add things if he can, wordage used is a bit strange though as he's Russian and converses through an on-line translator... which makes for some head shrinking decoding occasionally... :D

Alternatively, if you go here: http://home.cogeco.ca/~fahmf/ there is a link to the 'Official North American Forum' which he also visits often.

Last suggestion is to have a look here: http://forum.folding-community.org/view ... 5086#95086 for a big list of Monitors, some of which might do what you want out of the box.

Give the forums a go as I'm sure EarlVadim_RU would take on the 'challenge' of exporting to HTML.

Regards
Pete
P.S. I haven't been able to get FAHStats to update for a couple of months now... Shame...

I'll tag that, and watch it.

Don't have the full interest back to check on it right now. I'm in process of job and house hunting, having just moved. But, I'm looking forward to finally getting my own place, be able to set up a collection of whatever decent systems I can. Electric rates are cheap here compared to what I'm used to.

Well, got bored tonight. Pulled down FAHM&F and checked it out. Interesting. Very clean. It is showing my main system as a negative PPD, but because it predicted that I should be finished by now. Should grab a new WU overnight, see how it looks tomorrow.

Now to look at other monitor goodies.

Hi Zy, yeh, it's a nice little prog. all round really... particulaly when you remember it's still in early development.

Just to insult you  , I take you found to update the points/protein list via 'Options/Update Control' ?

Let us know what else you find off of the list. I had a look but got bored part way through there were so many...

Pete
