Folding on Dual Core

Post by autoboy » Tue Oct 24, 2006 8:30 am

I set up my X2 machine to have two instances running on it at the same time according to the dircetions. I installed it using a script from the internet and when I installed it a long time ago it seemed to be working fine.

Now, however my points are kinda low for the # of instances I am runnnig so I checked my x2 machine and both instances where running the FahCore_78. It has been awhile since I researched how to install this but I'm pretty sure that I am working the same core and so I don't get points for it. How do I get it to always use different cores?

Hello,

If there are two instances of the core shown in the Task Manager, then you are fine, and you will get credit for both. You can run Electron Microscope III to monitor the progess of both.

ok, thanks. I have electron microscope. It works pretty well. Now if I can only get SageTV to fix the bug that uses 100% cpu on my client i'll be all set.
