Does anybody here listen to ambient music? I don't mean sounds of nature like birds and oceans - i mean proper ambient music which is beautiful and often gripping. I'm talking about:
  • Brian McBride
    Dead Texan
    Stars of the Lid
    Rich Lustmord
    Biosphere
    Higher Intelligence Agency
    Pan American
    Vidna Obmana
    Labradford
Anyone? Anywhere? (Preferably an attractive twentysomething UK female interested in marriage + a lifetime of listening to it with me - but anyone else will do too)

... Still listening to Joni Mitchell...

It's the most excellent, laid back, late evening, easy listening music ever. Mostly her early records though, her later CD's are too jazzy/chilled.
I've been listening to these in successive order for over a week now:
Joni Mitchell
For the roses
Blue
Court and spark
Ladies of the canyon
