My 20-month old son

...standing with the freezer door open (bottom freezer) and describing items of food as he removes them.

Better than any music. Although I'll need to clean up the mess.

Fan noise and the faint electric whine my two Hitachis make in low-rpm stand-by. Darn, now that 250-gigger spun back up to full rpm. Should have removed it from Device Manager to prevent that from happening...
Not that one operational Hitachi makes this system any worse... it bad enough with the fans only. :(

It´s nice so far.. :) I had an el cheapo laptop a couple years ago, the battery was crap and it was noisy as hell. This little bugger draws 20W AC at idle when battery optimized so needless to say the tiniest mosquito fart is enough to cool it.. :) Btw. this thing still has the IBM logo on the lid and the palmrest.

Though i should not be babbling here, i should be sleeping. I'll write more in the notebook section after i've done some other stuff. Yeah, sleep. now.

Yeah, all of Thinkpad *60 series do, unless you are making a quantity order.
