peteamer, it can't be anymore "Inane" than the "What are you listening to right now" sister thread. But NOOOooooOOOo, look how popular that has been, it has run for 2 inane years!!! Well this thread is better than that by far, this is its "Big Sister" thread: older; naughtier; sexier; easier; and has the "been there done that" feel to aboutit, the feeling where you KNOW you don't have to put any basic ground work into it because it already KNOWS what's good and is ready to do it at anytime, cause it LIKES it.

Fine, in the spirit of keeping this thread as un-inane as its sister thread, I better change the title back to something more interesting and informative.

Keep in mind team, this thread is growing, maturing, learning from its experiences and wants to be loved by all. Come on guys, love this thread, it has feelings too.

JazzJackRabbit wrote:IMO the "looking at" part just killed the thread. That's just stupid. I can imagine all the possibilities now: "I'm looking at a coke can" or "I'm looking at my feet".... stupid.
Jazz my good man, your thinking makes sense, but you missing out on the point! if I make it "not-stupid" and actually useful, those who posted in the "sister thread" wont post in this one. That my good man would not be providing the services that this thread is created for. It's about giving the friendly readers and posters what they want, not what any one person
wants, only what they want. Let's try and be positive and informative, not selfcentered and selfish about this. It;s about sharing what your have to offer. What the people want is 79 pages of posts spanned over more than 2 years. Well this thread intends to give them MORE than that. you see, I'm a visionary, I even "watch" my own visions, and when I do, I post them in the "What are you Watching right now" thread, because that's what this thread is about. I'm sure you can understand.

So, back to the issue at hand.

I'm watching yet another add break that I would like to share, but this time, it's a different add then before which is about a Sponge Cleaner for kitchen floors. The actress is quite the yummy mummy. If indeed she has had that kid who is also on the add that looks like he needs to slip over and fix his face on that just recently mopped slippery floor...sorry, sponged floor.

Thank god for T.V.

NB. "Controversy" (sic) has two "o"'s.

Right now I am watching my neighbour trying to stop his dog humping another dog and failing miserably.

have to agree. even if it was said with irony. blantantly u are all looking at ur computer screen (more specifically SPCR). or your keyboard. whats happening in the background (as the posts so far have proved) isn't exactly interesting. 'What i'm listening to' has a bit more ground to stand on (not that i've ever really bothered posting there or reading it more than a couple of times); as this being silentPCreview, ur obviously not listening to ur PC.. and u can listen to stuff (actively) whilst using it. i don't quite see the point, if u have an internet connection there are a lot better ways to kill time. sorry to piss on your parade. /me votes for an 'ignore thread' option.
i concede Jag's post above could be amusing if there were pictures.. something like 'good/amusing youtube videos/pictures/websites' (delete as appropriate) could be good too. this on the other hand makes me wonder if u've taken ur meds lately..

i'm looking at this, as well as the OPs conspicuous sig. and advert shortens to ad. how old are u out of interest, Mr Wakko?

I just finished watching Mel Brooks' "Young Frankenstein" - hillarious :D

See here for some dialogues :)

E.g.

Inga: Werewolf.
Frederick: Werewolf?
Igor: There.
Frederick: What?
Igor: There wolf. There castle.

Gotta love Mel Brooks...
