Monster heatsink with a 30cm fan

Post by Slaugh » Mon Jun 18, 2007 4:04 pm

A huge heatsink was unveiled at Computex. It's huge! It uses a 30cm fan and "10" heatpipes!

akihabaranews has a few images of that monster. Here's one:

Ah, I love proof-of-concept products...

...but what exactly were they trying to prove?

This bottom part looks like it came from an Andy Samurai, the top part looks like the radiator off an old Buick.

Wow... I don't think that fits on HTPC case. But for big fan lover Felger, I think that is his dream come true.

This is the answear to why they should develope a smaller case then the ATX that is "standardinaized" (if you know what I mean). I know they tried out with BTX but hmm was quite of a flop or isn't it ready yet?! Why buy an ATX just to fit an refriguator  Of course I would understand those who would buy something like this but seriuosly! Anyway creds to the people making it, just amazing!!

Some off topic but still
