Hi, came across this website today, basically it's a game where you guess the meanings of words, and for every right answer the charity behind it gives 10 grains of rice to the UN World Food Program, it's only been up a month and they've already donated 1 billions grains of rice, no idea how much that is in kilos but it sounds like a lot!

it's a fun game (for me anyway ) and by playing you can help to eliminate world hunger, so it's a win-win-win situation as far as I'm concerned. if people want to throw a bit of competition in there, let's see who can get to the highest vocab level (me: 50 )

There are many similar initiatives. I'm sceptical about the legitimacy of most of them, and of their effectiveness/efficiency in genuine cases. I prefer auditable established charities.
