I just received this import today. Fortunately, it plays just fine on a North American PS3. http://bluray.highdefdigest.co...rmersmovie1986_uk.html

For those skeptical on if there's any improvement for a cartoon movie, going from DVD to Blu-Ray, here are some more comparison shots: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb...ht=transformers&page=2

The audio seems to be a bit weak in some places though.
