Sarah Palin Didn't Know Africa Is A Continent

Two thoughts come to mind: if Bill O'Reilly knew this before the election, then why is he waiting until after it is over to tell us? Doesn't this prove that he is a petty, lying, partisan stooge; with less than zero credibility? Not only is he willing to lie, he is then willing to tell us about it; thinking he'll gain something? Sheesh.
As for Sarah Palin, it is not so much that she didn't know this specific fact -- but that it seems to indicate a total lack of curiosity. Willful ignorance is an ugly trait. The most important thing is that one knows that that there are many things that one does not know. Overconfidence is a trait that is deadly in a leader.
When she found out that Africa is a continent and that there are a lot of countries there -- did finding out that she is ignorant, make her think...
