The KWA KM4A1 Carbine is the first production AEG engineered specifically for the unparalleled performance of today’s advanced battery technology – Lithium Polymer.
LiPo batteries provide higher capacity and superior performance surpassing the more common Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMh) batteries. However, this powerful battery requires the highest quality of internal components. To handle the extra power, the KM4A1 is equipped with a reinforced metal gearbox utilizing KWA’s exclusive 8 and 9 mm ball bearing bushing combination and case hardened, precision metal gear sets.
Heavy duty springs and high-torque motors are matched for optimum results. High-grade metal alloy are used for the production of the upper and lower receivers. The KWA KM4A1 Carbine was engineered to outperform the competition, offering ultra high performance and dependability straight out of the box!

pretty nice, but I think M4's are overrated. I own Marui's G3 SG-1 with accurized barrel, 160% spring and re-inforced mechabox. That is damn killer in games. 0,3G BB's go nice, even thru small bush without too much of an problem.

But one of the best BB guns I've used has been Tokyo Marui's AK-47, one with regular non-foldable stock and large battery. Especially when you game in -27 degree C and in snow, M4's Mecha's are prone of jamming.

That has been noticed even few degree frost from Marui, KWA and other brands BB guns. G3 series is good but quite plastic, especially from Marui.

But that is nice. Just get picanny rail system and tactical light and you're good to go ^^

Its excellent sports, its good practise for entire body and mind and it helps at least me and my friends keep up old army trainings fresh, just in case. Its good practise for team dynamics, leadership abilties etc.

I play usually with 30 - 120 person groups in old abandon army training grounds. They have bunkers and trenches there, lot's of forrest, hills etc.

Still, it's a fascination with guns that disconnects the object from its purpose. Guns are for killing and for some strange reason that makes many of us find them offensive.

First person to say yeah but not these ones gets a swift kick to the head for missing the point.

First person to pull me up on the threat of violence gets a cookie and a pat on the head cos they'll need all the wuv they can get to make it through this life without understanding irony.

"Off topic but ok" is the title of this thread. Why was there a need to qualify it as "ok"? Why not just call it "Big pictures of guns to wet yourself over"?

So,
Posting porn won't offend Women if I say I respect them.

Its like saying something is "Gay ". It still perpetuates hate, even if you say you only meant 'happy'.

Waving an e -penis, posting pictures of warlike guns, fake or not, only serves to further brainwash the population that assault weapons are somehow good clean fun.

 Saddening.

Kids run around playing war games, and we wonder why gun violence among youth is so bad...

Use a real gun to hunt real live game, then clean your kill and eat it. Guns are not toys, they're are tools.

for the record.
I was raised around guns, my family trains law enforcement and competitive target shooters.
My grandmother was a 3 time state pistol champ.
And shot her last deer from tree blind at 92 years old.

PS
some of the pictures are a bit big for SPCR. can we "shoot for" using thumbnails or smaller photos? (there's that gun culture sneaking into the vernacular again..)

Well, I think you agree that not the item itself is evil, but what you do with it, right ?

For example a knife. You can cut bread or you can kill someone.
It wouldn't be wise to forbid all knifes because it's also essential in the kitchen, etc ...

Same with weapons. Do you know what fun it can be to train your aiming skills ?
Look at the fun fair where people actually pay for throwing balls at empty cans.
That's fun and everyone would agree.
Just because we use replica guns which look 100% like a real one, everything changes ?
No, it doesn't, because I would not harm a fly ! but shoot empty cans and paper targets only.
That actually is a lot of fun, you should try it before judging.
But then again, if you don't like it - that would only proof that you're different. Doesn't matter, we're all different.

A saying comes to my mind: There're so many ways as there are people.

And regarding your porn example, well ... I understand where you're trying to get to, but you really cannot compare that to weapons.
The porn industry uses individuals who have already been corrupted and broken.
With putting your finger into the wounds wouldn't help anyone.
If we decided to blame everybody involved in the porn industry, that wouldn't make a damn difference.
Remember, prostitution is the oldest business since human exist, and it will unfortunately stay that way until the extinctions of all humans. That's just fact.

I don't approve it.
I don't agree with it.
Can I change it ? No, I can't.
Only thing we can do is to influence our children in the most positive way not to follow this shit.

Why does the sex industry always boom ?
Because of a lack of demand ? Cetrainly not.

But nobody has to suffer when I buy a replica gun.
If I buy porn, I do support whoever is involved in this business.

See boy, go'n figure ...

The whole civilization suffers when guns are treated as toys.

Violence is not a game, the fact its treated as such, shows how far we have yet to go as a society.

A caviler attitude toward firearms leads to accidents and death.

Play violence breeds real violence.

Next time kids run out on the road playing war games im not hitting the brakes.

You really think our society has a chance to survive ?
Our society will go down the drain because people are selfish, greedy and destructive.

Stephen Hawkins has given us 1000 years the most.
I would have thought maybe 200 years only - if we're lucky.

And you pretend to be apostel against violence ?

I comply to spcr's forum regulations, otherwise I would have told you how pathetic you are, judging by your last comment.

Cov, the knife analogy doesn't really work, never has.

Besides, it doesn't matter what your rationale is; tell me you don't get that hilarious far off glazed look in your eyes accompanied by a stupid grin when you take a nice gun in your hands for the first time and then I might give your argument some credence.

Even the stupid dogs learn to stay out of the road. (or darwinism takes over)

I actually fought the backlash of my neighbors wanting to run over the "columbine kids" and insisted next time we would call the sheriff, so he can come out with his real guns and 'play war' with em.

Here's what happens when you let people play with guns:

Gun Club, Police Chief Indicted In Boy's Uzi Death
By Associated Press

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - December 04, 2008 - A police chief whose company sponsored a gun fair and two other men have been indicted on charges of involuntary manslaughter in the death of an 8-year-old boy who accidentally shot himself in the head with an Uzi at the gun fair.

The Westfield Sportsman's Club also faces the manslaughter charge in the Oct. 26 death of Christopher Bizilj of Ashford, Conn., who lost control of the 9mm micro submachine gun as it recoiled while he was firing at a pumpkin.

His father was 10 feet behind him and reaching for his camera when the child fired the weapon. Though the show promised supervision from a certified instructor, Christopher was being helped by a 15-year-old boy at the time, District Attorney William Bennett said Thursday.

Pelham Police Chief Edward Fleury owns the COP Firearms & Training, which sponsored the Machine Gun Shoot and Firearms Expo at the Westfield Sportsman's Club.

Two other men, Carl Guiffre of Hartford, Conn., and Domenico Spano, of New Milford, Conn., also were indicted on involuntary manslaughter charges. They brought the automatic weapon to the show, after assurances from Fleury that it was legal for children to use it under Massachusetts law, Bennett said.

"A Micro Uzi is made by and for the Israeli Armed Forces and is intended to meet the operational needs of Israeli Special Forces," Bennett said, noting the weapon has a rate of fire of 1,700 round per minute. "It is not a hunting weapon."
The situation in a nutshell: at a gun show, owned and run by a police chief, an 8 year old boy was allowed to use a micro Uzi to shoot at a pumpkin. The gun pulled too hard for him to hold on to -- and he shot himself in the head.

There was a "instructor" there to supervise -- who was a 15 year old boy. The 8 year old's father was at the show with him and apparently had approved of his son using the micro Uzi.

The gun was too small for him to get enough leverage against the stream of bullets it shoots -- it is capable of 1000-1700 rounds per minute! That's 17-28 per second, all to shoot at a pumpkin. The gun was also too small for someone to reach around and help him hold onto it, apparently.

A very sad state of affairs, when a father not only brings his 8 year old to a show where they are displaying guns like an Uzi and a micro Uzi, and then lets him shoot one unassisted.

And the boy shoots himself -- dead.

Just having fun with guns, I guess?

Ok, so airsoft is not "OK". Makes me wonder what is..

Paintball? Computer games like Half Life? Action movies? Comic books..?

Airsoft is a game, played by adults. Selling airsoft weapons to people under the age of 18 is illegal in Sweden (and the rest of Europe I think).

Linking to a sad story about an accident involving a real weapon seems a bit pointless.

Airsoft guns shoot 6mm plastic pellets at about 85m/s. It's possible to upgrade the parts inside the gun to increase the velocity but usually 100m/s or 120m/s is the limit for games here in Sweden. Protection for the eyes are mandatory and there's usually a limit to how close to you're allowed to stand while shooting at someone. You are not allowed to aim at the head unless it's the only body part not behind cover. The whole game depends on honesty since the person hit is responsible for admitting being hit.

It's sad that people judge this hobby because it involves "weapons." To me it's like a computer game with exercise. Me and my friends are old role playing and computer geeks, most of which have not even done military service. We are no threat to anyone and we even use biodegradable pellets.

You americans have some real problems with guns, but airsoft has nothing to do with that. This is my last post in this thread btw.

Good point Vicotnik.

I bet my ass that if I lived like a priest, didn't drink, didn't have sex, didn't smoke, didn't have anyhting to do with violence at all ... these pathetic, hypocratic people would find something else.
They always do.

It's sad that this thread has degraded this way ... exactly by these pathetic, hypocratic people who are AGAINST violence.

Whoa, I was informed this thread is about toy guns. If that's the case I withdraw my prior post and apologize.

I sympathize with Neil's last post, but I have to ask if it's a bit OT.

Can't we all just play pinball?

Here I am with the kids:

Gun play is gun play.

Toy guns and violence play makes real guns seem safe and harmless to many easily impressionable youths.

I would rather see folks learn how to handle real guns safely, than "play war" with "safe" guns.

Guns for targets, hunting, even personal "protection" are totally legit uses of firearms.

Playing war, even with fake guns is not.

If you want to play "realistic" war games, play the part of the guy who has the job stuffing soldiers body parts into bags.

Oooh, who shat in your handbag?

The safety/non-lethality of these toys isn't the issue. Opening a new thread and being confronted with pictures of guns is. If you post stuff like this on an unrelated public forum with no warning then please don't spit the dummy and start calling people hypocrites when they let you know how they feel about it and why.

Cov, you're free to come in Finland, have fun with us. Some of our team members became 2nd in last years tournament in Japan.

And I have to agree: Neil, you simply cannot line up "toy gun" with real guns and air soft practitioners to "insane" and nutcase idiots, who let 8 year old shoot with assault weapon, nor country that feels its ok to have assault weapons in your home or hoarde them for WW *insert number here* and not teach any responsibility with the guns.

No under 18 y-o should need to touch gun, other than BB-gun / air gun for sports etc. No 18-y-o should ever let touch assault weapon and nobody should let touch any real life weaon without training and proper supervision.

The problem is not the person, problem is in between ears, and I mean problem is point of view and values you hold dear. Add there lack of information and voilá you have problematic debate all over again.

Paintball is exact same thing as is Airsoft. Its guns just don't look real but game is same. War is serious but war games belong into male-testosterone culture.

Finnish airsofting I think however is slightly different than american.
And that is mostly attitude. While american's play for fun for the most of the time, we also remember what we were taught in military. War is not fun, dying in war is even less. but due our history we simply cannot close our eyes and say: War will never happen again, army is useless etc.

Xan: Problem that guns are being treated as toys is double edge sword. Toy weapons belong to culture than culture. However its completely different to say toy gun is same as real gun. Its like saying hill car is like real car.

Humanity's problem is that we think after we act and we do not want to bear responsibility of our actions and our choices. In some culture this has had very bad consequences when you have guns.

NRA, red necks shooting from moving cars, peoples shooting hundreds of bullets into air in middle-east during funerals and weddings... All are really products of our culture and not because of guns but because of us and our cultures. To change how we treat guns, we have to change peoples and to change peoples we also have to change culture bit by bit.

Well, my friend. Do you ever leave your house ?
When you do, you might have to cross a street or two and maybe you get caught by a car ... wouldn't be the first time that happens to somebody.

Same with a forum.
You explore all categories.
You find one category for miscellaneous subjects.
You eneter it and ... BOOOM.
You find something what you don't like !?

Can I suggest you disconnect from the internet and don't leave the house anymore ?

Thank you.
