Just out of technical curiosity:
I have a 8GB NTFS USB stick... When I go to its properties it shows it has 67,9MB of used space, even though it has absolutely nothing on it, including hidden files. What is this?

Windows is smart. Something's been deleted but for some reason the space wasn't reclaimed. You can try formatting it, that should get it back to normal. Or, if you stick to FAT32, that sort of thing generally happens less.

It's the journal. You can't use that space, and the more you put on the drive, the more space it will take.

Aah. I had no idea it could take THAT much space... That's pretty crazy. Maybe I should get one of those 256GB sticks to make up for it.
