Verizon netmail migration

Anyone have experience with Verizon netmail migration to another provider?
I have an alias on my verizon email that i use for business so i need to keep it.

You do know, don't you, that you have to make an active choice before June 25 or your account will disappear. If you choose to migrate to AOL you'll be able to keep your Verizon.net address, and your stored messages will be transferred automatically.

I'm letting my accounts go because they were mostly just for junk.

The only complication I can think of is that some of those with whom you correspond might be confused that you still have the Verizon address because they've seen the headlines but don't know the details.
