Specifically with the 6800 and the NV Silencer 5. I know several users (including me) had problems with the 9600 series and the Arctic Cooling VGA Silencer Rev 3. The noise on the 6800 is unbearable but I don't want to make a switch if there's a risk of failure (yes I'm being paranoid here)

Before anyone replies, I think you should add a dead GPU option.

Oh smeg, I made the first vote and broke the poll. I did not read the bit about it being only 6800 and NV5. Just ignore me,

I bought a 6800GT with the NV5 silencer already installed - does that count?
It prevented me from installing a Zalman NB-47J northbridge cooler on an MSI K8N Neo2, because the fan was too close to the chipset, but other than that there were no problems.

I have done two NV5's on two diff cards... no problems at all ... both were 6800nu cards and both cooled much better then stock. Even at 7 volts it cools better.
