Shuttle SD11G5 question

Post by Gohan » Sat Dec 24, 2005 11:21 am

Hi, I have put an order in for this little lot.

Shuutle SD11GS
PM 1.83ghz
2gig DDR-2 PC4400
250gig Samsung HDD
& an X1600pro

My question is I have a couple of Zalman VF700-CU here, does anyone know it it would fit?

If not any other options for more silent VGA cooling in this rig?

Cheers, Ryan

Ok it seems that the Zalman won't fit :( and I can't undervolt the stock cooler enough without the temps getting too high.

Can anyone suggest a better singe slot cooler? or one that has some kind of heatpipe solution that will route the heat to the rear or the card?

I don’t mind loosing the PCI-E x1 slot but I will still need something compact as obviously the shuttle has some clearance issues.

Thanks for that, I looked at the dimensions and it a little too tall for the Shuttle. I have decided to ditch the X1600 pro and go for a passive X700 or 6600GT.
