not bad results. but price still (300e here) too much for me. 8600ultra with 200e price tag will be the best option for me, next month we will see how its performs, and what exaclly it will offer.

8300, 8600 should have be shown on CEBIT (15-21 march). and i hope that it wont take such long as for ati to put them on the market (month delay from show to sell). even if new nvidia cards will be on the market with slight delay in april, i hope it will be first-second week of it, not end of the month. 8600ultra seems fine to me, especially 512mb version.

I've been holding off building a new system since last august...first waiting for conroe, then allendale, then lower priced 8800. I think I'm done waiting

All sorts of reviews out yesterday and today. I'm probably going to get the XFX 320MB XXX version. Stock overclocked unit with faster memory, performs better than the 640MB at my resolution (1600 x1050), lifetime warranty, still has a bit of overclock room to go, and costs about $340US.
