Overheating Video Card? (Monitoring Software)

Post by tsmvengy » Sat Nov 24, 2007 6:34 pm

So I think my passive 7600GT is overheating when I play Half Life 2. What program could I use that would create a text log file of the temperature of the card, so that when my computer crashes while playing I can see if it's the card?

Thanks!

I think nVidia Monitor will do this. It used to be it's own program called nTune, but might be included in newer Detonator drivers.

You have to enable Event logging and tell it to log temperatures and it should log temps to whatever file you create.
