humming from Gigabyte 8600 Gts - silent pipe 3

Hi,
my Gigabyte 8600 Gts silent pipe 3 hums under load, if i decrease the clock speed it becomes quieter, but not completely.
and then it really degrades the performance.
it sounds like electric buzzing.
did someone encounter the same thing or similar to it?

mine made a loud clicking noise under light load and very loud obvious coil whine/buzz when under load. after i bought it, i found a number of reports on the forum (and even one in the newegg reviews). sounds like gigabyte shipped a ton of them using defective/substandard parts. my only remedy was a full return..

what noise exactly?
mine is a ight bazz that increses when i run graphics, movies or games.
if i don't do anything or even don't move the mouse it's rather quiet .
in any case, it's a known problem?

edit - my warranty passed. is there anything i can do by myself?
i read a lot of reviews before but this was mentioned.
if i replace my card, what can you recommend that dosen't do it?
thought of one of the new silent ATI's...
