Inno3D Geforce 8800 GT Accelero S1M
I've just build an HTPC/GamingRig for my livingroom. The pc will be used for watching movies on my new Philips Flatpanel and playing Age of Conan later this month when it is released. I'm almost done building it, and until now it consist of:
Case: AeroCool m40
CPU: Intel E8400 3Ghz
PSU: Corsair VX450W
Ram: Corsair XMS2 2 x 2 GB
Motherboard: Asus P5K – VM
Storage: Samsung SpinPoint F1 HD753LJ
DVD-drive: Plextor PX-810SA
TVCard: Hauppauge WinTV PVR-150MCE + IMON Remote
Cooling: Akasa Fan control Jr + 3 x Nexus 80mm Real Silent Case Fan + Nexus 120mm Real Silent Case Fan
And soon a Scythe Ninja Mini instead of intel CPU cooler.
As you may have noticed, i haven't found a good VGA yet. Today i stumbled upon this, which i thinks looks nice, but i can't find any reviews of it anywhere. Anyone heard of this graphiccard before:
Inno3D Geforce 8800 GT Accelero S1M
(Link will come in next post, because I aren't allowed to post links until my second post)
If you have other surgestions considering choice of VGA, please feel free to share it

Innovision used to be third tier card manufacturer during TNT/TNT2 days. They mostly sell in Eastern Europe/Asia as I understand. As far as I also know they have improved quality and are relatively safe buy assuming they are still using reference design.
The cooler looks like reduced version of Arctic Cooling S1. If you really want this cooler buying Inno3d card will be your only choice because AFAIK it's not available in retail channels. It should fit inside the case, but you WILL NEED fan to cool it.

It will be impossible to fit a fan directly on the heatsink, because of my tv-card.
Here is a drawing of my HTPC-case as will look with the card in place:
Will that be sufficient cooling for the VGA?
My PSU i placed directly above the VGA, and it will also pull out some of the hot air, and blow it out the case. The 120mm nexusfan is the intake fan and the 2x80mm is outtake fans.
Please comment, if you think I could get it working with this card.

I have been looking at that card too, while figuring out which parts to get for my new computer.
Its pretty hard to find any reviews of it, but i did find this one:
...ok coming in my next post as i for some reason cant create a link with my first post on these forums.
Its from another company, but the specs is pretty much the same.

It appears that only the Danish are replyingMota wrote:Sorry to say it, but it aren't the same cooler. The Inno3d has a AC Accelero S1m cooler, which is a lot smaller
Although the S1m has less height and therefore slightly reduced performance I would guess that your setup would be completely thermally sound with the 120mm in front. Someone mentioned low 60's with no intake. i would think yours would be similar and this would be safe.
