If it has the same sinks as the S1 R2, you might think about getting some better quality ones. The S1 R2 has cheap light aluminum (?) sinks that don't seem as though they'd draw much heat away from the chips at all, plus the horror stories about that adhesive.
I got some taiwanese made copper sinks for $10 from newegg.com, but you can probably find them for cheaper somewhere.
Ultimately I suspect the S1 R2 will give the best cooling performance, but there's no way it's going on a reference card without a little mutilation.

5770 cooler
The Thermalright HR-03 Rev.A seems to fit perfectly. I've had people confirm this and it says so in the compatibility list.
The question is however... Is it any good, because I have a Asus 5770 with the "egg" cooler, and it's WAY noisy. So I might try the HR-03 and then add a fan.

Whoa, that looks nice!BlackWhizz wrote:ThermalTake ISGC-V320
You think that one would be a better option than the HR-03 with a 120m fan?

I'm pretty sure that this monster is awesome, and just what I was looking for!

Ah cool deal Yeah. Well, you can email me at the private message I gave just now.
How would I send the money.... well I could do it via Paypal. That does international. Just give me an amount you think is good. That double fan job is exactly what I need.
Oh, yes, I bought a reference 5770 card. I hope it works. the website says compatible. The odd thing is that the card cooler looks like it wont work but I can't call about it.
it is not a USA item and the company wont give me info on it. Stupid right?
Oh, are the fans VOLTAGE controlled/resistance, or PWM. Can't use pwm fans in my setup.
The more I look at this thing.... the more I say.... wow. It has copper heatpipes, 2 120mm fans.... the thing looks like it is a beast and the price is quite low. tell me what it takes
