They make noise, too.

turbo module or a YL for my Accerlero S1

I need a little air blowing over my Accerleo...should I get the turbo module from AC or just get a Yate Loon and zip tie it on?

There is a slim(12mm) version of the popular Scythe Slip Stream 120mm fan series. I'd get one of those if available. A fan over the turbo module at any rate.

I was able to take a YL I already had and modify it for a free experiment. I am happy with the results

It's a great cooler, with a wiff of air it can cool almost anything. :)

Too bad the 800RPM version doesn't make any airflow at all (tried it, it was worse than the original noisy 8cm fan on Zotac GTS250 Eco.

I tried a Turbo module and a 650 rpm 12 cm Fander and a 900 rpm 9 cm Fander on my S1. At the same noise level (had to slow down the Turbo significantly), the ordinary fan (whichever) was a little, but visibly better. Go for the fan. The card is OCed 4770.

Of course the S1 can easily cool it with no fan at all, but since I OC the card and tend to get artifacts w/ proper cooling, I decided to just use the fan. It's effectively silent in my setup anyway. With no OC the card is sweet with just the S1.
