Best way to mount a fan on a Ti4200

Post by bobdoe » Sun Dec 21, 2003 2:48 pm

Anybody got some good ideas on how to mount a silent fan on a abit siluro g4 ti4200? The sound generated by that little puny fan is amazing. Anyways the heatsink is to big to replace it with the zalman zm??(the gold fin one). Im thinking about mounting an L1A with some tape right under the heatsink and unplugging the stock fan. I've seen the pics where the slot cover fan is blowing on the side but i dont think that will work with my current vga heatsink being somewhat flat.

u remove the orginal heatsink to fit the zalman.
duct tape, dbl sided tape and bluetac/chewing gum are also good methods
