is there a mATX Small form factor with 5 1/4 bay only? i do not need 3.5 bay. i'd like it as small as minimac. mATX form factor? the ones ive seen at newegg all have a 3.5 bay in addition to 5 1/4 bay making them bigger than a minimac

- micro ATX is as 24cmx24cm. much bigger than a mac mini. you'd want miniITX if u want to approach the size of a mac mini..
- the mac mini does not use 5.25" cd drives; it uses smaller, slimmer drives as used in laptops. theyre way too big for a system the size of the mac mini.
-you will not find a case with a full 5.25" drive and no 3.5" bays. there are a couple i remember that had 2.5" drive spaces and laptop cd bay. but the ones i remember weren't even approaching mac mini size
-the mac mini is the best pre-built sff of that size, and it can run windows (albeit u have to buy it). aopen, i think, had built a mac mini case clone. and some company has built a PC with it which u can buy. but it doesn't look as good as a mac mini in my opinion.

The closest case based on what you wanted that comes to mind is the Antec NSK 1300. It comes with only one external 5.25 bay and room for up to 3 internal hard drives.

Be sure to find some reviews of the NSK1300 before buying it, the user reviews at Newegg are much more negative than of the other cubes.

Edit: cases & damping has this thread, and it includes a review link in the last post: http://forums.silentpcreview.com/viewtopic.php?t=30665
