Thermaltake BigWater noise levels?

If anyone has a BigWater kit, can you tell me how quiet the pump is? Most review sites don't touch on the noise level of the pump. They just say that it's "quiet". But that's obviously not good enough for the SPCR croud ;)

Any input would be great!

i have two BigWater Kits in my folding machines. Both pumps are quiet, at least quieter than the rest of the machine. I had a few occasion when the pump started to get loud, usually when the water level was getting too low.

There should be no noise problem with the pump, it's probably better to replace the fan on the radiator with a quieter one.

Cool, that's good to hear. Would you say the pump is as quiet as a good low rpm 120mm fan?

What are the specs on the machines you run the bigwater kits on? And what kind of temps do you get?

I have a 120mm silenx laying around that I might use.

hard to say if it's as quiet as a low rpm fan

i have my two bigwater kits on one P4 2.4 @ 3 Ghz and on one AMD XP-M 2500+ at 2.4Ghz. The temps:

p4: 43C (orignal TT fan, reduced fan speed)
amd: 46C (nexus fan, 12V)

Install pic in my Biostar iDeq SFF:

Compared to the brutally loud OEM proprietary dual-fan setup, the bigwater is fantastic. Now if I can find a way to quiet the HD with the limited space...I'm golden. :P
