What are the ideal properties of a heatercore for low noise computing?

Try getting a shroud for one, so the deadspot can be eliminated.

Get one that has mounts for your case, and use those silicone grommets to silence it.

choose some high cfm low noise fans

Make sure the barbs are the size of your tubing.

Cool, good stuff.

A few more questions. Whatever I get I want it to be single pass right? And also for a low noise application I don't want the fins to be too densely packed - is this correct? Also, how deep should the rad be, as in how wide should the fins be across? 2", more, less? Thanks
