Koolance Question

Post by SD » Mon Jun 26, 2006 8:19 pm

Hi,

This is probably a stupid question...

I recently got a Koolance Exos 2 WC kit. Anyways, I want to replace the 2 120mm fans with some Yate Loons. And so I unscrewed the 8 screws at the top, they're in this picture.

Once they're unscrewed however, the top part doesn't pop/slide off. I'm just wondering if anyone who has this kit can help me out here.

Thanks in advance.

Edit: Oh, btw, is there any specs on the koolance fans? I can't seem to find them anywhere regarding their dimensions. I want to know the thickness of them. If they're too thick/thin, then I don't want to order 2 extra fans.

Check out this review at [H]ardOCP. It should help you out. "No less than twenty-four screws had to be removed to open the casing and get at the two final screws that hold the radiator in place."

And those fans are probably Rullian Science Fans like on the EXOS AL, pretty crappy. So YL would be a better choice.
