CeBIT: Reserator XT and 2 GPU waterblocks

Post by Slaugh » Sat Mar 17, 2007 10:36 pm

Zalman is presenting a new Reserator at CeBIT this year, called the Reserator XT. It's the first Reserator that uses active cooling, with a 140mm fan that runs at 500-2000 RPM. It weighs 5 kg and measures 21x35x18 cm, and the pump has a maximum capacity of 360 liters per hour.

Here are 3 pictures of the Reserator XT:

At the same time, Zalman is showing two upcoming GPU waterblocks designed to cool GeForce 8800 GTX and GTS cards:

God that looks flashy and ugly. What happened to the nice sleek non-teeny designs of reserator 1 and 2?

I think it looks kinda hot :)

I would hope for a 120mm fan in there vs what they got. could swap it then

I hope they keep up the reserator 2. My 1st edition, the Res1 blue tower, is holding up great but cannot live forever. I was getting giddy about the huge steam radiator thingie. I hope Zalman doesnt go too kiddie.... I like the new look though. Cooling wise, it is compact which is inefficient for passive attempts
